Fiona is a warm and experienced Registered Psychologist in Wheelers Hill with over 20 years of counselling experience. With a postgraduate qualification in Counselling Psychology and formal training as a Family Therapist, she brings a rich cross-cultural perspective to her work, having trained and practiced across both Singapore and Australia.

Fiona is known for her engaging and empathetic approach, allowing her to build strong therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds. She is passionate about supporting individuals to reflect on their experiences, uncover their inner strengths, and move toward a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across school, community, and clinical settings. Fiona is particularly attuned to the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, and is committed to providing inclusive, culturally responsive care.

As a Mandarin-speaking psychologist, Fiona provides therapy in both English and Mandarin, supporting clients who prefer culturally sensitive care in their native language.

 

Fiona integrates a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). She has a particular interest in working with trauma and supports clients in processing and recovering from traumatic experiences using EMDR and other trauma-informed approaches.

She supports clients across a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship and family challenges, workplace-related stress, addictions, grief and loss, and neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD and Autism Spectrum presentations.
