Minh Hang Thai

Provisional Psychologist

Hang is a dedicated provisional psychologist committed to supporting individuals in their mental health journey through evidence-based practices and the cultivation of safety, understanding, and empowerment. With experience in supporting children and young adults in school settings, not-for-profit online projects, and community health environments, Hang is well-equipped to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and deeply considers the broader context's impact on mental health.

As a practitioner, Hang values diversity and acknowledges the unique barriers faced by LGBTQIA+, CALD, and neurodivergent communities in accessing support. This recognition drives her commitment to inclusivity and informed practice. Grounded in authenticity, curiosity, and compassion, Hang adopts a client-centered, collaborative, and strengths-based approach. She meets clients where they are, highlighting their perseverance and facilitating deeper self-understanding, resilience development, and alignment with individual needs and goals.

Fluent in English and Vietnamese, Hang works with clients of all ages, offering psychoeducation and drawing from therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based interventions. She addresses a range of concerns including stress, anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, interpersonal relationships, self-identity, self-compassion, and self-esteem.

Hang is currently accepting new clients and eagerly anticipates the opportunity to support individuals on their journey to wellness.
